New bike this summer. A 2005 Honda 600RR, black with trible flames. I have done alot of things to it in a short time. I was taking pictures of all the mods before and after pictures to compare the parts. Unfortunatly I lost all those pics, so I will be adding new picutres soon.
So I haven't up dated the blog in a long time. My last entry was that I found my GSXR that was stolen. Well that didn't last long because in about a months time it was pilfered again. The Kryptonite lock that that held it chained to post was cut clean, possibly with a hack saw or a cordless grinder, I suspect. After many enjoyable conversations with the insurance company, I finally gave up and took what they were offering, quite a bit less then what I was hoping for. But it was close enough to get a new bike on the road...
Look out the window to admirer my pride and joy that I put my blood and sweat in too... and CASH! What do I see Instead an empty spot. First I was in denial, I had to take a closer look. So I put some shorts on and run out side to investigate. I'm hoping a friend is playing a joke on me and moved my bike to scare me. But what I find is unmistakable evidence that some asshole ripped me off. All that is left are pieces of my ignition, windshield and the blood of thieve that grab my GSXR.

This 62 Valiant needs a new home. I have no room to park this car any more. Needs to go ASAP. I have no time to part it out. If any one is intresed in this car leave a comment and I will get back to you.
Here's a car that has sat for about five years in Langley BC, Canada. It ran when parked, but mother nature has taken it toll on her. Chrome and cheap primer didn't have a chance. Sitting on Craiger rims with eleven inch rotors with four piston calipers behind them. Donated by a 71 Duster, along with the master cylinder and power booster. Also got the power steering from the Duster in to the Valiant. Under the hood is a slant six was rebuilt with 9.5:1 compression, aluminum Offenhauser intake manifold, topped with a Holley four barrel 390 carb. A large four foot wide hole filled in with a Lincoln mirrored moonroof. Door handles trim have been shaved off. Push button transmission. There are pieces of trim and stock bits in boxes.

This was only done because I didn't have any where to work on it. Desperate time lead to desperate measures.

Click the link below for more images.

Continue reading "Keeping loved ones close to you."
